Rebars

Rebars are divided into three categories: simple, ribbed, and coiled, which are also divided into the 5 following categories according to international standards:

  • European rebar (carbon, manganese, silicon, alloy, etc.)
  • Carbon steel (“black” base rebar)
  • Galvanized
  • Coated epoxy
  • Polymer fiberglass and stainless

Rebar packaging

Rebar bundles weigh 2 to 5.5 tons depending on their size and brand. Atrya Trading Company uses 5 straps and 3 loops to fasten its rebars. In general, rebars are packaged in two ways, coil or branch depending on different rebar sizes.

In general, rebars are made of 3 types of steel in terms of ductility and type of mechanics:

  • S240 mild steel
  • S340, S400 semi-hard steel
  • S500 hard steel

Also, two metal plates are installed on each bundle, which contains the following information:

  • Package number
  • Type of rebar
  • Rebar score (nominal diameter)
  • Package weight (in kilograms)
  • Melting number
  • Quality control approval mark from the manufacturer
  • Manufacturer name or trademark
  • Rib type and production method
